Managed network services

Your network is managed. Is it managed well?

Whether your infrastructure is handled internally or by a current provider, the same gaps tend to appear. WAN costs that scale poorly. Internal networks that lack visibility. Wireless that was installed but never designed. Edge7 Networks has been designing and managing enterprise networks since 2018.

You already know the problems. Here is how we solve them.

We do not just connect sites. We manage what happens between them.

Edge7 Networks was founded in 2018 as an SD-WAN specialist and quickly became one of the leading managed network providers in Ireland and the UK. Our networking expertise is not a service line. It is our foundation.

Founded on networking

SD-WAN specialists since 2018. Network design and management is where we started and where our deepest expertise lies. Not a bolt-on to a broader IT services offering.

Network visibility as the foundation

Our SOC sees your traffic patterns. Our security team knows your topology. Our engineers understand the dependencies between your sites, users, and applications. Visibility starts with the network.

Same team, year after year

Low team churn means the engineers who design your network are the same people who support it. Deep knowledge of your environment. No rotating cast reading from a runbook.

Networking and security under one roof

Most providers are strong in networking or security. Edge7 Networks has equal depth in both. Your network and your security posture are managed by a single team with shared context.

Edge7 Networks sees what most providers miss. Because network visibility is where we started.
Also available

Secure the network you have built.

Your SOC has the network context that security-only providers lack. Adding security is a natural next step. The visibility is already there.

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about managed networking services.

Managed network services are networking functions, including WAN connectivity, LAN infrastructure, WiFi, and access control, designed, deployed, and managed by a specialist provider. A managed network service provider takes full ownership of network performance, monitoring, and support under a service level agreement, giving organisations access to specialist network engineering expertise without maintaining a dedicated internal networking team.

Managed LAN (Local Area Network) is a service where a provider designs, installs, and manages the wired network infrastructure within an organisation's sites, including switches, cabling, VLANs, and access control policies. A managed LAN service provides ongoing configuration management, firmware updates, capacity planning, and fault resolution, removing the burden from internal IT teams.

Managed WiFi is a service where a provider designs and manages wireless network infrastructure across one or more sites, including access point placement surveys, configuration, guest network policies, and ongoing performance monitoring. A managed WiFi service ensures consistent coverage and security across all locations, with a specialist team handling firmware updates, capacity changes, and fault resolution.

Edge7 Networks is an HPE Aruba partner and uses HPE Aruba infrastructure as its primary networking platform, including Aruba switches, access points, gateways, and the Aruba Central cloud management platform. This covers SD-WAN, managed LAN, managed WiFi, and Cloud NAC. Edge7 Networks also supports third-party infrastructure in existing environments where appropriate.
